If you are looking for an informal and active holiday, planning an event, seminar or conference then Viubråtan Feriesenter is the place for you!
During the summer the place is popular with tourist traveling through the area or who people who just want a holiday in an idyllic and relaxing environment.
Viubråtan can offer a variety of activities. We have 20 cabins, and two large houses that together can accomodate up to 160 persons.
The cabins are winter-isolated and have electricity. All the cabins and the houses also have a fireplace or an oven. Almost all of them also have a living room, kitchen and a bedroom.
Our camping ground can accomodate up to 40 caravans, mobile homes or tents.
Viubråtan is situated in the middle of the forest approxomately 40 km north of Oslo. The nearest town is Harestua, about 3,5 km away.
Viubråtan can offer you the possibility for nature-walks both summer and winter. Viubråtan also has some wonderful outdoor areas in addition to a pond for swimming. This makes Viubråtan popular for active groups of people.
There are a nummer of activities you can do in the immideate nearby area. The closest activity is a driving range, fishing and canoing at Harestuvannet, visit the sun obeservatory or Bergverksmuseum, Lunner speedway for motorcross, the cartoon musesum at Brandbu, just to name a few! Bislingen and Mylla are good starting points for ski- and walking-trips in Nordmarka. Another option for a winter activity is the alpine hill at Varingskollen.
Viubråtan is also popular place for arranging parties and conferences. Here you have several options. There are two common rooms, both with cozy fireplaces, which can accomodate 60 and 40 persons. There is the Dining Hall wich will accomodate up to 100 persons. Least but not last there is Olavshallen (for conferences), wich will accomodate 40 people.
